Your new responsibilities
• Work closely with, and be guided by, the GM in this newly created role
• Work with in-depth excel spreadsheets across all components required to estimate the cost of the project. This obviously including quantities and material types, but also need to factor in direct labour costs, including time to set up and produce product
• Input updates into the ordering system.
• Work and communicate with key people across the business
• Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers
• Maintain and deliver an efficient paper trail of all project

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Strong background in estimating and quoting in a construction environment.
• Solid numeric ability for effective cost estimation and planning.
• Effective attention to detail; accurate quotes, checking job details, creating job cards and preparing jobs for production.
• Sound admin skills including document control and a good level of computer skills, covering excel etc.
• Successful people skills, resulting in building natural relationships with all you work with.
• Excellent communicator.
