Job Description
We are located just 15kms south of Te Kuiti. Our dairy farm is 340ha and we peak milk 750 cows through a 60 bail rotary cowshed. We have ACR's, automatic teat spraying, protrack and in-shed meal feeding. We utilise turnips through the summer and also feed maize and grass silage. All cows are wintered on farm. We milk the cows in two herds with one herd on OAD from mid September. We are close to good schooling with the bus going right past the door.
We are looking for a quality person who is punctual, reliable and enjoys being part of a successful team. Ideally you are someone who is currently in a farm assistant role or has one year dairy experience.

We have a recently renovated three bedroom cottage for your exclusive use.

Avg Hrs / Wk 50
Rostered Time off Single rotation 11 days on / 3 days off

Our 340ha dairy farm is half way between Te Kuiti and Piopio and consists of 40% flats, 40% rolling and 20% medium hill. Our OAD herd rotation has a longer walk and 80m climb. The TAD herd is grazed closer to the shed.
