We are looking a motivated positive person to join our family Arable farm in Mid Canterbury - Mayfield.
We are a 550 hectares arable, finishing store lamb farm, have approx 100 hectares of irrigated land with Pivots and Hard nose gun,
Role will include but not limited to:
Cultivation, Drilling, Spraying,Ploughing
Harvesting arable crops (longer work hours required )
Irrigation knowledge an advantage
Lamb fattening during winter drenching ,weighing, etc day to day stock work as required.
Operate and Maintenance of machinery as required
General farm duties
Previous experience required on working on arable farming operation would be an advantage
Successful applicant would show initiative, able to work safely unsupervised
Position would be starting September 2021.
Applicant will be required to undergo a drug, alcohol testing and potential for random testing if successful with the job, criminal background check as part of the pre employment screenings.
Full driving license, Valid NZ work visa requirement for this position
Competitive remuneration based on experience
3 bedroom house,
Mon -Fri ( except during harvest time) or if work required during weekends
