Hays Recruitment in Wellington is currently seeking qualified Carpenters and skilled Hammerhands to assist local building contractors within the Wellington region. Our clients require assistance on some exciting assignments within the construction industry such as residential and commercial new builds, finishing, earth quake strengthening and outside groundwork.
Your new role
You will be completing various duties suited to your experience including but not limited to 1st & 2nd fix, shuttering/form-work, roofing, framing, gibing, installing and finishing duties.
Current projects include residential, commercial, civil, new builds, additions, repairs and alterations, with locations within Wellington CBD and Regional work.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidates will hold carpentry qualifications (New Zealand registration or the foreign equivalent) or valid skills in the building industry. The successful candidates will prove to be reliable, have good transport and tools.
What you'll get in return
Good rates of pay are available with options of PAYE, Sole Trader and Contractor, we can also pay you weekly offering the option of submitting your timesheets online or paper based.
