Blackwells Isuzu is one of the South Island’s largest Isuzu Truck workshop facilities. It offers sales, parts and services for New Zealand’s leading brand of heavy trucks. It is part of The Oakwood Motor Group; a proud family owned and operated company, which consists of many different high profile vehicle franchises throughout the South Island.
Due to the success of the Isuzu Brand and reaching Number 1 status in NZ truck sales for the 17th successive year, we as a company need to meet the continued growth and demand that is constantly upon us.
To meet this demand, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Heavy Truck Technician, preferably with an Isuzu background, but any late model commercial experience would be an advantage. In this role, you will have the chance to take your skills to the next level in a clean, modern and well-equipped environment.
As a valid team member, your duties will vary each day but you will be responsible for:
• Carrying out diagnostics, services and repairs to the manufacturer’s specifications
• Carrying out quality, efficiency and accuracy of your workmanship
• Adhering to the Company Health & Safety Policy
• Providing excellence in customer service

The following are our expectations of you:
• Hold some form of Isuzu Training
• Have a qualification in the required field
• Hold all of the relevant licences
• Have strong communication skills with a good command of the English Language
• Be highly motivated with the ability to work as a team member
• Have a willingness and desire to grow within your Trade and also share your knowledge
