We HR Mobile Limited is trading as Smart Mobile and Mobile Monk looking for *ICT Technician* (Sales & Repairs) for our Ashburton branch.
Smart Mobile deals with Mobile Phones, Laptops, Computers, iPads and Tablets repair services and accessories. We currently have 20+ stores across New Zealand.
*Location*:
Ashburton, Canterbury
Weekly Hours: 40+ Hours per week (Full Time)
Pay Rate: $22 - $25 Per Hour
*Job Duties*:
You will be working in a retail store and on site working on Phones, iPads, Tablets, MacBook’s and Computers. We are looking for someone who worked in similar previous role, taking responsibility of the job solely. Full training will also be provided.
*In this role you will be responsible to*:
• Perform routine inspection, testing, and repair of smart phones, tablets and MacBooks and other mobile devices.
• Talk to customers to determine the issues or problems with their devices including hardware and software issues and provide practical (and affordable) solutions to the issues.
• Ensure work is consistent with what the customer requires including changing or editing hardware, software, and applications for customers.
• Ensure that customers are happy with final outcomes.
• Answer the phone calls in friendly and engaging way.
• Meet and greet customers and state that they can ask you for further assistance if necessary.
If necessary, help customers to choose items, advise of any promotions, and then accurately collect payments at the counter.
• Provide customers with product comparisons if required.
• Communicating with customers to review the quality of products and service and noting any questions or concerns they may have.
*The successful applicant will have*:
• Experience with retail sales and/or customer service.
• Experience as a Technician or similar position preferable but not essential.
• Relevant ICT related Tertiary education.
• Having good skills in repairing iPhones, iPads , Macbook and Laptops.
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal and an excellent attention to detail.
• Good at identifying problems and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Must be honest, punctual, reliable, and resourceful.
• Able to work independently and compatibility to work.
• Available for Immediate start or ASAP.
