Bidfood is offering a great and new opportunity for people looking to learn some truck driving skills: an Apprentice Driver Role!
This is your chance to work for the leader to Foodservice distribution in Canterbury (Warehouse is situated in Islington, Christchurch).
What we’re offering:
3-6 months driving class 1 truck and learning our warehouse environment and operations;
The business will then pay for your class 2 licence (you will then be a driver in class 2 licence for 18 months);
The business will also pay for your class 4 licence (you will need to be with the company for 12 months);
Monday to Friday and every second Saturday (40+ hours per week);
Positive and friendly work environment;
We pay above living wage;
What we require from you:
Class 1 driver’s licence (must have 12 months experience and clean driving history);
Must pass:
· Criminal history;
· ACC check;
· Pre-employment drug test;
· Be physically fit;
