House Moving is a hugely varied role where no two days are the same. It can be physically demanding but also hugely rewarding. This is an entry level labouring position for someone who wants to become a house mover.
Housing is not getting any cheaper and moving existing homes just keeps getting busier. A career is house moving is a pretty sure bet you will never be without work.
Must Have:
- Minimum current Full Class 1 NZ Drivers license.
- Basic experience with tools. Do you know one end of a hammer from the other and can you 'work' a shovel?
- Willingness to listen and learn.
- Your own reliable transport to work as this does involve work outside of public transport hours.
- Be able to work at nights when required.
Would be good to have:
- Previous labouring work experience.
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle
