Golden Healthcare Group is a large Christchurch based, privately-owned aged care provider, and comprises of eight facilities which offer various residential care services.
This role could be full-time or part-time for the right candidate.
You will have a small maintenance team to assist you with this busy and varied role, ensuring all Facilities are maintained to a high level, meeting H & S standards and to meet and pass audits.
Ideally, you will have an Electrical background and therefore suitable registration will be advantageous. General carpentry skills will be required, as will the ability to fix locks, gates, wardrobe doors etc. You will need to be physically strong and agile, as some furniture moving is required from time to time.
Your knowledge of general plumbing would also come in handy, as all our facilities have bathroom ensuites.
Most importantly, you will need to be organised, have great leadership skills and a great sense of humour.
You will be provided a vehicle to travel around our facilities. There is a roster for emergency repair call-outs share with the team. A uniform and PPE is supplied and you will also get to enjoy our delicious morning and afternoon teas and lunches.
