Whitford Vineyard and Rural Services are looking for someone reliable, positive and hard working to join the team. A good sense of humour would also be good!
You will work as part of a team and sometimes alone. So we need a team player, but also someone who is happy, and competent to work alone.
Problem solving skills will be a must as you will be working with machinery - you know what machinery can be like at times.
As far as the work goes, we do a range of rural landscaping jobs. So a good general knowledge of a variety of different machinery is a must.
Key duties include:
Ride-on mower operating
Maintaining edges and spraying weeds
Hedge trimming and mowing
Loading and backing trailers
Limbing and prunning trees
Compact tractor work incl. front end loader and other implements
Must have:
Mower operator experience
A full, clean driver's license (class two would be advantageous)
Good knowledge of machinery
Machinery experience
Common sense
Good communication skills
Having a good understanding of machinery, and running it sustainably is very important.
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
