We are currently seeking a Painter’s assistant
The Key Responsibilities will be:
Assist in making on-site preparations such as erecting scaffolding and ladders and covering
fixtures to protect from paint.
Assist in preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, fixing holes and cracks,
and smoothing and sealing surfaces. Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment required to carry out work.
Assist in mixing paint and other ingredients to prepare the required colour and texture.
Assist in applying paints, varnishes, and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays.
You must meet the following skills and experience requirements:
Previous relevant work experience is preferred
Attention to detail
Having a strong work ethic and be able to work well under pressure, honest and very
reliable
