Job Responsibilities and Duties

We are a well-established catering company with a vibrant team of professionals who love what we do. We are a government-contracted provider of lunches to schools under the Healthy Food for Schools Scheme, also delivering lunches to schools on a private basis. Our clients are based all over Auckland, and we start early and finish early. Based in St Johns/Stonefields area, we are easy to get to, and you will not need to travel in traffic.
Monitors kitchen equipment and reports issues to superiors
Continually develops culinary knowledge to produce high-quality meals
Measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings
Packing orders in a timely manner and placing in the correct delivery boxes
Delivery to Schools when needed
Assist with Sushi preparation
Good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations
Able to lift items with some weight (medium)
Ensure the consistent production of high quality food and on time deliveries to all schools/clients
committed to work required roster time .
be able to work safely in kitchen with large hot pots and trays,
be exceptional team players with a flexible and committed attitude,
be comfortable working as part of a multi-cultural and diverse team.
Preparation ,Packing & delivering food to schools
Supporting with kitchen deliveries and washing dishes
Follow the guidance of the Head chef
Follow and enforce strict health and hygiene standards
Clean food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
Collecting and sorting delivered produce.
clean down at the end of the shift
$22-24 per hour depending on experience
