Te Awaiti Station is an extensive 6618ha South Wairarapa coastal property, located about 50mins east of Martinborough, farming 8000su comprising sheep, cattle, deer and bees. The station also has a perendale stud and fattening block roughly an hour away.
We are looking for a hardworking, diligent person who is up for a challenge and enjoys working in a successful team environment.
The right candidate will have a strong team of dogs - ideally 5-6. Experience mustering on horseback through steep country would be an advantage as well as possessing a saddle. The role will be 60-40 stock work and general fencing with some tractor work involved. Te Awaiti is steep country where some mustering involves walking large distances, so a certain level of fitness is required.
The position will provide great experiences working on a iconic station, being part of an awesome team with on farm values as well as some of the best fishing and diving on your door step.
