We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Warehouse/IT Administrator to manage
the day to day processes of our busy warehouse, reporting directly to the owner.
Due to the size of the company, this is a SPLIT role that involves both managing the warehouse with inventory control, delivering client order and administering the inventory IT system, website and online shopping platform.
As a Warehouse Administrator you will coordinate the receipt, storage and distribution within the
warehouse. You will also control the inventory out going/ incoming.
As an IT Administrator you will ensure our online presence is functional and up to date. Including website (backend of E-commerce) platform.

Job responsibilities
Incoming goods
o Identifying all incoming items, reconciling each item against delivery documentation.
o Reconcile incoming items against orders
o Checking quantity and quality of all incoming consignments.
o Organising unpacking and storage of incoming consignment items.
o Updating Inventory system new inventory items.

Outgoing goods
o Ensuring orders are received and checked against stock and inventory records
o Ensuring all ‘picked’ orders are of good quality and labelled correctly
o Ensuring order items are selected and packed in an efficient way to minimise package size.
o Ensuring Inventory system is updated with order fulfilment details and stock adjusted accordingly
o Ensuring all order documentation is present and correct
o Organising dispatch of orders
o Delivering local/urgent orders

General
o Undertaking regular ‘stock take’ to reconcile stock in hand against inventory held in system
o Identifying and reconciling stock vs inventory anomalies
o Identifying out of date stock and inform management.
o Might need to help in delivering client order when required within auckland or wider new zealand.
o Safe disposal of out of date stock once authorized by management
o Ensuring warehouse is kept tidy and meets company and New Zealand health and safety standards
o Identify potential business process improvements where appropriate and report to Management

IT Administration
o Regularly check to ensure all media platforms (website, online shopping, FacebookPage etc.) are running and functioning as expected.
o Check for the ecommerce - customer orders are outstanding and the payments are all accepted through payment gateway.
o Take responsibility for fixing any issues with media platforms
o Ensure inventory system is functioning as expected
o Ensure all items are entered in the inventory system accurately and in a timely fashion.
o Identify potential IT related business process/system/peripheral improvements where appropriate and report to Management.

What we are looking for

To deliver the above tasks an ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate:

A good command of English, both written and verbal
Knowledge of Indian language (Hindi/Malayalam) would be an advantage, but not essential
Logical thinking, good decision making and analytical skills
2+ years of logistics and warehouse and/or IT experience
A New Zealand diploma in logistics/supply chain management or IT (or equivalent)
NZ full driving licence
Knowledge of Southern Indian foods and spices
Ability to lift 25kg on a regular basis
Available for early starts and weekend work when required
Reliable and committed to getting a good job done
A clean drug test if required
