Warehouse Team Leader
Part-time permanent – 30 hours per week
About the Role
You will be managing the 2 permanent staff and up to 30 volunteer staff in the day-to-day operations of the Presbyterian Support Otago Retail warehouse. This involves the management of receiving donations and warehouse storage space. The warehouse space supports 3 outlets including Shop on Carroll, Op Shop on St Andrew, and online. You may also cover for our retail manager, or in the retail shops as needed.
You will be working 30 hours per week between Monday - Saturday.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Enjoy op- shopping and have an understanding of vintage clothing and current trends in order to sort inventory.
Be fit and strong to lift, push, and carry stock daily.
Be reliable and trustworthy.
Have a high level of attention to detail with the ability to notice and correct errors, omissions, and inconsistencies.
Be enthusiastic, and have a sense of humor
It would be an advantage to have at least 2 years of experience in managing retail or a warehouse environment.
