We are looking for an experienced Fitter Welder to join a local manufactuer. This company specialises in the rebuild and assembly of automotive radiators. They complete all fabrication and fitting in their workshop. This position will be solely workshop based.
Key tasks:
* Read and understand all drawings
* Fabrication
* MIG Flux Core and Stick welding - FCAW & SMAW
* Repairing
* Working to tight deadlines
Skills & attributes required:
* Minimum 1 year experience
* Ideally hold a Trade Qualification as a Heavy Fabricator or Fitter Welder
* Ability to work unsupervised and complete a task from start to finish alone
* Ability to fabricate accurately from technical drawings
* Currently hold or have the ability to gain welding tickets
* A strong commitment to Health & Safety
