The opportunity:
Our client is looking for a workshop assistants / labourer in their stainless workshop, either full-time or short term employment.
About the work:
The work will largely involve steel and stainless processing work including cutting blanks, deburring, spot-welding, inspecting, cleaning and packing for export
Training will be provided for using machinery such as the guillotine, forming presses, linishing equipment
Forklift licence would be helpful, however, they would provide training for the right person
Other general workshop work assisting tradesmen with jobbing work

The ideal person:
Our client is looking for someone who is easy to get along with and able to listen, learn and follow instructions
You will need a practical understanding and have skills to be able to be taught to use machinery and hand tools
Has a full NZ driver's licence as at times you will be required to get parts etc for the machinery
You must have the right to work in New Zealand
You will also be able to pass pre-employment checks including criminal history; drug and alcohol screening; ACC history
