EXPERIENCED BULKY/TRACTOR OPERATOR REQUIRED
Due to a staff injury we are looking for someone to fill this role for approximately 4 months.
Start is asap.

We are on the hunt for a top machinery operator to help us with the day to day machinery tasks on the farm as well as some outside the gate work.
We are a large scale dairy farm in northern southland on the outskirts of mossburn.
milking 980 cows on a 390ha eff dairy platform with adjoining support land of 138 ha, for wintering cows and making supplement off.
we have modern and well maintained machinery, currently running a case puma 185cvt with a gps guidance system, this is mainly used for running a front and rear mower setup also feeding out when required.
also operate a MAN 18.280 fert truck which is full computer spread setup operating tracmap gps.
other various machinery on farm also.
along with operating these machines you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the gear.
mainly used on farm some outside work does happen, mainly spreading and some contract mowing.
this role does require a drivers licence, with a minimum class 2 HT to drive the bulky.
class 2 licence is negotiable for the right person but must be willing and able to require.
This is a full time position.
some general farm work on the dairy farm is also part of this role, helping with some stock work, fencing and other general duties not related to milking cows.
Accommodation is available on farm which is shared with another staff member. there is also rental properties available in the surrounding areas
