AKTC provides a kaupapa Maori pathway for education success and parity for Maori and second chance learners. We do this by embracing and nurturing Whakapapa, Te Reo Maori, Tikanga me Kawa. We are committed to equipping learners with the skills they need to gain quality employment or further education or training. Individual pathways are tailored for each tauira based on their goals and strengths.
We seek a Kaiwhakahaere Hotaka, permanent contract position 0.5 - 0.8 FTE.
You are a key person and your role involves:
? Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC), New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), and the Ministry of Education (MoE).
? Academic administration and support for the organisation, including the Tumuaki, Kaimahi, programmes and tauira support.
? Moderation (timeframes/pre/post/external/eports and auditing, monitor delivery plans and moderate tauira samples before they are reported to tauiras)
? Consistency review
? Annual programme review
? Write/complete funding applications
? Team player
Applicants should have demonstrated experience in tertiary educational compliance.
A full clean driver’s license is essential.
Applicants for this position must already have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
