BARK Kennels and Cattery is looking for a Kennel Supervisor.
It has come to a time where Bark is getting busy and we have an opportunity for a new team member.
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 7.30am -4.30pm 40hrs a week. Start date ASAP
Responsibilities and Tasks
Kennel Management and Health and Safety
• Ensuring highest levels health and safety of animals and people.
• Day to day kennel management including dog care and cleaning.
• Make sure all afternoon/Evening Jobs are done before leaving.
• Report any maintenance issues to General Manger or 2IC.
• Report Dog medical issues each day to General Manger or 2IC.
• To keep a clean and tidy workspace.
• Able to work in a very busy environment.
• Take full responsibility for all kennels from start to finish.
Team Management
• Mentoring and coaching of team members.
• Ensure team are adhering to roster and maintain service levels and meet business dog/employee ratios.
• Assist with social media KPI’s.
• Other tasks as required.
• Look for opportunities which will assist the team to operate smoothly.
Skills and Experience (*Preferred)
• Successfully Supervised small teams.
• A love for animals and experience in all size dogs.
• Confidence in working with all breeds of dogs.
• Time Management skills.
• Can handle a very busy environment.
• Does well under pressure.

Qualifications (Preferred)
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Animal Care qualification.
