Pet Sitters NZ are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team of dog walkers as follows:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, approximate hours 9am – 3pm, plus additional days to cover sickness and holidays.
The position involves collecting dogs from their home and taking them to an off leash exercise area where you will manage a group of approximately 7 dogs and then drop them home again, twice a day.
You will need to be totally reliable, physical fit and efficient. You must be flexible and able to follow instructions, but also work on your own initiative. You will be required to work in all weathers.
Training will be provided, but you must be super confident handling dogs using positive reinforcement methods and have good attention to detail.
A work vehicle will be provided so you will need to be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
