Westview Farming Partnership in the Pohangina Valley is looking for a general farm hand to start as soon as possible.
Westview Farming Partnership is a sheep, beef, deer, dairy, forestry and finishing farming business based in the Manawatu. The job of general farm hand will be based in the Pohangina Valley, 30 minutes North of Palmerston North and 20 minutes from Fielding.
The job will consist of calf rearing, shifting break fences, docking, weighing animals, drenching dagging, tractor driving (if there is sufficient experience), general maintenance and all other aspects of a sheep, beef and deer farming operation.
This job does not require a dog and would suit someone who is looking for an entry level position into the red meat and fibre sector.
