About the Role
Reporting to the GIQ Delivery Manager, the GIQ Project Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver construction projects in accordance with the internal project delivery framework.

This client-side project management role requires a proactive individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders from senior management to the supply chain.

You are digitally savvy and keen to embrace and apply new technologies. With an agile way of working and a growth mindset, you will be set to be future-ready.

To be successful you will have the following attributes and skills:

A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, or property/project management or a relevant trade qualification is beneficial
Industry experience and short professional courses in Project/Contract management (i.e. Prince2, MSP)
Understanding of NZS3910, Building Act 2004, The Resource Management Act 1991 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
Commercial acumen with experience in consultant and contractor contract negotiation.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders across all levels of organization.
Previous experience in project delivery of property, facilities and/or infrastructure will be an advantage
Ability to self-manage, use initiative and juggle competing demands.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues and manage risk
Solid organization skills including attention to detail, time management and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to negotiate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels in a professional manner
