Koroneiki Developments is a small and highly efficient native tree planting company ,which specialises in riparian planting and restoration projects throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
We’re looking to fill the role of:
Fixed term Riparian and Revegetation planter
What is involved?
- Planting of shrubs, trees and grasses in riparian and revegetation projects
- Installation of plant protection guards and materials
- Preparation and maintenance of planting areas through manual scrubbing and spraying
- Happy to stay away during the week as we cover the Waikato and Bay of Plenty
- 40 - 60 hours Monday to Friday
- Ability to get to Te Awamutu for work at the start of the week or each day if we are working locally.
- The first 2 weeks will hurt, mental ability to push through this.
- Commit to work until September

Skills/knowledge/and work ethic
- Hard working, can do attitude and excellent work ethic
- Fit and able to perform vigorous work
- Able to work as a team but also unsupervised when necessary
- Knowledge of NZ native tree species (beneficial)
- Able to work long hours during peak season
- Have a clean criminal record
- Reliable
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Full drivers licence an advantage
We have ongoing work throughout the rest of the year so for a suitable applicant there is an opportunity to be employed full time. This work will involve spraying, nursery construction and potting work.
