We are a busy Indian restaurant serving up delicious modern Indian fusion food, and we need an experienced Chef's to join our energetic team.
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in cooking different styles of Indian cuisines. Candidate who is hard-working, organised, creative, and passionate about food must apply for this role. Relevant degree or diploma is preferred. You will be able to work in a high-pressure, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player and also able to work unsupervised.
Applicants must possess-:
Your duties will be as described below,
1. Main responsibility is to prepare Tandoori Items, Indian/North Indian Curries, Naan bread, Tikka, Tandoori platter or any tandoori items or other Indian snacks and or South Indian dishes like Dosa, Idli Vada Sambhar, Alloo Bonda and various south indian cuisine curries
2. Processing and preparing daily menu order of Indian curries, snacks and food.
3. Maintaining international standards of quality, taste and presentation of each item as set out by international franchising company.
4. Ordering, controlling and maintaining minimum inventory stock.
5. Interacting with suppliers and important hospitality customers.
6. Assessing preparation methods and calculating food cost.
7. Training of new staff in kitchen.
8. Introducing new menu item and working with Manager for promotions and advertisement.
9. Maintaining kitchen equipment and tools in perfect working condition.
10. Maintaining high standards of personal and work place hygiene.
11. Ensuring compliance of health and safety regulations.
12. Any other duty given by the Manager
