Willing to work weekends and late nights. Some of the Main Responsibilities include: Ensuring Foodstuff Quality, Preparing and cooking authentic Asian traditional foods and curries as per client’s requirements, Control and expertise on Asian spices, seasoning and garnishing, Controlling and adjusting temperature for Oven and other cooking equipment. Portioning of food and placing it on plates, bowls etc. Refrigeration and storing of food at correct temperatures are some of the responsibilities you are expected to carry out as a normal part of your Job duties. .To be successful you must have relevant qualification or relevant work experience of at least 3 years or more. Preferred knowledge in similar role cooking Asian, Mughlai, Malaysian Indo-Chinese and South Indian cooking As well as Halal menus. Have a sufficient confidence to supervise and handle cook and kitchen hand. In the Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated culinary & sanitary knowledge. We want someone with creativity and passion to help us produce innovative and authentic Asian dishes and curries. Good understanding and knowledge of Asian cooking, spices, seasoning and garnish is preferred.
