We are looking to recruit a skilled Asian Fusion Cuisine Chef to join our increasing business
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of work experience in cooking authentic Asian cuisine and knowledge of a variety of Asian cooking styles-especially Chinese, Japanese or SouthEast Asia Cuisine.
You will be expected to work in a busy environment but have to be presentable, reliable and able to deliver under pressure whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
You will be responsible to:
---Prepare, cook authentic Asian cuisine dishes, ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained
---Plan new Asian fusion menus, analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items based on food, labour and overhead costs
---Adhere to company procedures in regards to Health and Safety regulations
---Order or requisition food and other supplies needed
---Manage the kitchen while the manager is away.
Must have: Good working attitude, reliability, initiative to work unsupervised, kitchen management: including food supply/ordering experience a bonus.
Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
