We are looking Restaurant Staff for our TURKISH RESTAURANT / CAFE based in Whakatane, bay of plenty.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individuals who is willing to join our busy team as an Assistant Manager/FOH team members/Chefs.

ASSISTANT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS-
Relevant qualification in business management or similar
Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience required
Ability to undergo pre employment check if required
Ability to work on weekends, public holidays and/or rostered hours
Good communications skills
Direct and monitor staff.
Must have own transport.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.

CHEF REQUIREMENTS-
We are on the lookout for a strong Chefs with a broad range of skills and knowledge that can start immediately.
Previous experience in a busy kitchen is necessary
Knowledge and experience in Turkish /Mediterranean / Middle easten / Grill is preferred and will be an advantage.
A can-do attitude with the ability to work evenings, weekends and split shifts
Creativity – the ability to inspire others and create dishes of quality and value
Consistently delivery outstanding levels of service and ensure that the needs of each individual guest are met Maintain all presentation and cleaning standard of the kitchen, following company guidelines
Ensure all stock management processes are followed, including delivery, storage, stock rotation and ordering, to maximize availability and minimize loss
Adhere to all licensing, Health and Safety and Food Safety Regulations
Support the opening and closing of the kitchen in line with company processes as required
Prepare, cook and present food to meet company specifications
Ability to remain calm under pressure and undertake various tasks
