Assistant Restaurant Manager and Indian Tandoori Cook/Chef required

Samrat Authentic Indian restaurant is a busy restaurant in Waikanae on the kapiti coast.

We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager and Indian Tandoori Cook/Chef to work for us on a full time basis.

The successful Assistant Manager will have;
*Work experience in supervisory role
*Level 6 or higher qualification in business or retail
*Ability to work under pressure
*Ability to work unsupervised
*Ability to work over weekends
*Strong leadership,motivational and people skills

The successful Cook/Chef will have;
*3 years work experience as Indian Tandoori Cook/Chef or Food Industry
*Qualification in cooking preferred
*Ability to work on weekends
*Ability to perform under pressure
*Ability to work unsupervised
Your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking tandoori Indian curry.

Some of your responsibilities will include supervising waiting and kitchen staff, promoting the restaurant, taking reservations, ensuring customer satisfaction, stock taking, and ensuring restaurant is always clean and tidy.
