We are looking for a seasoned Barista & leader to join our small team at Alfred’s Huia Store!
We are a small shop in the heart of Huia run by an awesome team of locals. At Alfred’s we pride ourselves on our bubbly inclusive kind family vibe. We have a huge history in Huia and are very proud of that
The perfect candidate will live locally, be reliable, have experience in café life, know how to pump out high quality coffees, have manager experience, work well in a busy environment, be fully vaccinated, and be kind and friendly.
We want someone who is willing to step into a manager role once they feel comfortable to step up and help us run the café in the weekends. Since we are such a small team, we all do a bit of everything, so you must be open to this.
Summer hours are between 25 – 30 hours, and during the quiet months (winter) this can drop to 20 - 25 due to us being very seasonal. Our Roster is a set roster so you do not have to worry about weekly changing shifts.
Start date is asap for training with your new hours kicking in from RED LIGHT.
