Café Manager
We are a busy café offering a la cart menu and various cold an hot drinks. We have a great number of regular customers who love our food and drink which. We urgently need a café manager who is able to organize and control the operation, and ensure smooth, efficient operation of the café.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Responsible for planning and updating menus with chefs
• Responsible for planning and organising special functions
• Responsible for managing stock and arranging supply orders according to budget
• Pricing food and drink according to cost
• Responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Making sure dining facilities follow health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
• Communicating with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
• Maintaining high customer satisfaction rate
• selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
• taking reservations, greeting guests and assisting in taking orders
• organising and controlling the operation, ensuring smooth, efficient operation of the café
The successful applicant will:
1. have relevant experience in a similar role.
2. Able to work on weekdays, weekends and public holidays
3. Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
