Sila Restaurant is looking for - a keen Full-Time Chef who has at least
3 years of experience and knows how to lead a top-notch kitchen. You’ll
have an impressive wealth of Turkish or Middle Eastern culinary
experience, and you’re no stranger to working in a busy kitchen
alongside a close-knit team of professionals - where creating delicious,
high-quality cuisine is just what you do. Your range of skills doesn’t
stop there - you’ll also know how to manage food costs, work within
budgets, organize prep, write menus and lead the team around you. As we
operate around the clock, flexible hours are a must. You’ll also have
the following attributes:

A flair for food and quality presentation.
An organized and systematic approach to kitchen management.
Loads of experience leading a team and great holistic people practices.
Excellent time management skills.
Good numeracy and literacy skills and a strong command of the English language.
Ability to multi-task and cope under pressure.

You will also need to know how and experience to do these such jobs:
1: Kebab Styles (Doner Kebab, Adana Kebab, Shish Kebab)
2: Turkish mezze (Babaganus. Haydari. Acili ezme. Taratör)
3:Deserts: Sekerpare. Tulumba. Baklava. sütlaç.

Responsibilities:
*The day to day preparation of meals aligning with our menu plan.
*Ensuring that all meals are served in a hygienic and attractive way.
*Ordering appropriate ingredients.
*Ensuring that enough stock as always on hand.
*Maintaining positive interaction with staff and customers.
*Good time management.
*Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
*Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking,
boiling etc.)
*Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
*Ability to work in a team
*Very good communication skills
*Excellent physical condition and stamina
*Honest, reliable and punctual
*Fair knowledge of health and safety
