We require a chef.
The Chef will be part of a small team, and must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
We are looking for someone who can take responsibility in their job, show us what you can do.The chef would be involved in:
preparing and cooking food, ordering food supplies, menu creation, costing and the food control plan which also consists of temperature checks, freezing and preserving food, enforcing hygiene regulations.
The chef should understand nutrition and diets that require creativity and for the customers needs/ diet restrictions.
Emphasis on quality, from food preparation to food presentation and service consistency including demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures.
The chef may train staff.
Also required are leadership qualities in discussing food preparation or creative ideas with managers and staff.
The chef should be passionate about food.
