Renkon is a Japanese restaurant. We are specialized in Donburi with rice and udon noodles and are the first restaurant to serve the Donburi in New Zealand. We started Renkon in 2002 since then we have many strong and loyal customers.
We seek full-time Chefs able to commence employment
in June 2021
Job description:
Japanese Menu development
Preparation and cooking Japanese meals
Requisition management
Safety and sanitation management
Staff training and supervision
Regulatory and corporate compliance
Trial period (6 weeks)
Pre-requisites: 3 years’ experience as a Chef of Japanese cuisine
Qualifications/Licences/Endorsements are regarded highly but not a must.
Basic Food (Hygiene) Certificate (or must be able to attain)
