The Wanganui Greyhound Racing Club is looking for a people's person to coordinate our ever increasing events business, as well as manage our high functioning bar.
As part of the role your main tasks will be:
-Coordinate our events, including our Christmas and Melbourne Cup events
-Market and sell tickets to our events
-Manage our bar that operates twice a week.
-Meeting and exceeding budgets in both the bar and the events
The role is flexible in hours, and can be adjusted to suit the right candidate. This also could work well with someone who already has a part time role. You will need to be able to work Friday evenings.
-Previous experience in event/hospitality is preferred.
-Bar managers certificate preferred but not essential (training will be provided to the right candidate)
