Host Manager Wanted for Wynyard Pavilion
First impressions count! You are the first person guests see when they walk in the door; it's your job to make them feel welcome, glad they came, and to seat them quickly. when the guest is done with their meal, give them a genuine thank you as they walk out the door. On top of seating Guests, you assist floor staff and Managers by communicating with them in terms of party counts and seating so that everything runs smoothly. You’re a people pleaser that will go out of your way to ensure every guest is wow’d and leaves Wynyard Pavilion as a fan. You’ll work alongside our front-of-house manager and events manager to ensure all guests and functions are spot on and live up to the Wynyard Pavilion standard. You’ll be expected to run floor shifts and really push the wow culture amongst other managers and staff alongside the Wynyard Pavilion values. We run some of Auckland’s most exciting and diverse events and you’ll be center stage alongside the Events manager to make sure everything runs smoothly and guest’s/organizers leave happy. You’ll work a variety of shifts through the venue to understand each role to start with and understand the inner workings of the venue and how you can contribute to the success of the business.
