The Good Oil cafes are well established and popular cafes in Dunedin. They are renown for their quality food, coffee and outstanding service.
The cafe situated at the Nichols Garden Centre, (Good Oil @ Nichols)), services a wide range of clientele. We have an extensive brunch menu backed up by an outstanding range of cabinet food, as well as a wide variety of sweet delights. The cafe has a wonderful indoor/outdoor setting nestled amongst the garden centre's giftware area, and the outdoor plant area.
We have a vacancy for an energetic kitchen hand/dishie to join our dynamic team. This role has a very important function ensuring our cafe dishes are cleaned and recycled with the utmost of urgency!
The person we are looking for will:
be fit and healthy
have a calm and reassuring demeanour
be able to sustain high energy in a busy environment
be reliable, dependable not afraid of hard work!
be able to take instruction and advice willingly
be a true team player
build on our already high standards of customer service
be willing to work weekends
We envisage the job starting mid January to early February.
