Key responsibilities:
Provide an excellent level of customer service and drive a customer service culture across the restaurant
• Overall running and management of the business
• Plan menus for the business as per the requirements
• Manage stock level, ordering and recording
• Make the staff roasters and handle all the correspondence with staff
• Hold functions as per the customer’s requirements
• Hire, train and coach staff and drive performance
• Handle all the financial and budgeting tasks for the business
• Ensuring that company policy standards are upheld
• Ensure quality control and responsible for running shifts
• Direct and motivate a team within a busy Restaurant
• Correspond with suppliers and negotiate the price
• Correspond with city council for required regulations
• Be part of ordering, managing wastage and controlling labour costs
Requirements:
• Diploma or higher qualification in Business or Management or Hospitality
• Relevant experience in a supervisory or managerial position for minimum of 5 years.
• Willing to obtain LQC and Mangers certificate
• Able to work independently and manage the business
• Ability to multi-task and run a bar and restaurant
• Excellent knowledge of the NZ laws and regulations in NZ
• Outgoing and engaging personality with great customer rapport
• Able to train and motivate staff
• Excellent level of communication
