We are looking for a Duty Manager to join our team at Public Bar in Commercial Bay. Situated in the Harbour Eats Dining hall, Public only serves beverage while food is provided by the surrounding vendors.
Without the hassle of a kitchen, Public is a very straight-forward venue to work for, with very forgiving closing times compared to usual bar work due to our legal obligation to end service once the surrounding kitchens close.
With the latest close typically no later than 10-11pm, working at Public leaves plenty of room for you to enjoy a fulfilling social life and synergises well with work/study lifestyles when working super late hours isn’t an option.
We are preferably looking for applicants who have their manager’s certification and are comfortable serving beer, wine & cocktails (coffee is a bonus). We’re more than happy to train up those skills for applicants who bring the right attitude and common sense to the table!
