Tokyo Club prides itself as a market leader in authentic Japanese, Izakaya style Japanese cuisine. We also been recently been voted one of Concrete Playgrounds top Japanese Restaurant's in Auckland.
We are looking for either a Senior Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie level chef for Tokyo Club located in the heart of Auckland's busiest dining hub, Ponsonby Central in Ponsonby.
About You
If you have a minimum of three years experience working in a senior position with a chef's license or catering certificate together with experience in a Japanese restaurant kitchen where you have gained experience of short order cooking, filleting fresh fish and skilled slicing for sashimi and making sushi.
You should be able to work with fresh market seafood, order cook and have a strong knowledge of sushi and sashimi techniques.
The job starts from immediately.
