Our Tauranga Store is locally owned and operated, focused on providing our customers with the freshest, tastiest Burgs Tauranga has to offer, along with a bunch of delicious sides and some top notch customer service!
We are looking for some energetic burger building Superstars to join our Tauranga team. We currently have two vacancies; an assistant manager role and as a crew member.
For these roles you will need to be able to keep up with our fast-paced environment – A busy lunch or dinner rush can be full on, so awesome communication and multitasking is a must. This role will see you jumping between prepping, cooking and assembling burgers in the kitchen, serving our awesome customers, and helping to clean up throughout the day and evening…Yes that means dishes too!
Having a keen passion for food, a willingness to learn, pride in what you are presenting and a high attention to detail will see you flourish within our team. We are lucky enough to have a team full of passionate people who are keen to share their knowledge!
Our Assistant Manager role is for a senior team member or someone looking to get to that level, who:
• Will have previous kitchen experience or training within the industry
• Have good knowledge of food safety and food safety practices
• Humble enough to take direction, confident enough to delegate where needed
• Be a self-starter, figure out what tasks need doing and which ones take priority
• This role requires heavy lifting and periods of standing
As this is a Hospitality job….days, nights and weekends are involved. Pay rates are reflected by the skills you bring into our kitchen!
