New Zealand’s largest Aquarium Specialist's are looking for a full time staff member to join their Mt Roskill team

This is a permanent Full Time position - not a casual position.

Position requires person to work 40 hours/5 days per week with one of those working days being a Weekend day.

It would be preferable if the applicant has an interest in aquarium fish and or reptiles.
Basic fish-keeping experience or knowledge would be an advantage.

You will need to be a motivated team player with excellent communication skills and enjoy a challenging and rewarding working environment.

Must have permanent residency (i.e. no working visas) and have an excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.
Please note that this is not a short term/casual position.

You will need to display:

An all round customer service focus - always be helpful, attentive and respectful
Ability to work independently and be self motivated
A Basic Knowledge/interest in Aquariums
Team focus and be comfortable working in a team
Must be physically fit as some heavy lifting is involved
Proven reliability and honesty essential
A can do/will do attitude
Be happy to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty

Full and Ongoing Product Training Provided.
Job duties will include but are not limited to....

*Customer Service including answering incoming calls and serving customers with their aquatic and reptile inquiries/needs
*Assisting customers with new tank/reptile setups and educating them on ongoing care
*General Care of Livestock (feeding, carrying our fish health care checks and administering medications etc
*Cleaning & Maintenance of Aquariums
*General Shop Duties (vacuuming, dusting etc)
*Inwards stock receipting
