As the Assistant Manager specialising in Sales and Service you will be responsible for leading our sales team.

As an experienced retail expert we know that you'll bring a wealth of knowledge with you and to set you up for success, we will provide you with support as you learn all about our business and way of operating. We'll expect you to identify areas and opportunities for improvement, drive a culture of fantastic customer service and take the business forward through expert leadership.

So what will you need?

At least two-three years of experience leading or supervising others in a team environment
A love of the outdoors and the products we sell
A friendly, outgoing and confident personality which shows in your customer relations
The drive to go above and beyond with every sale and customer to exceed their expectations
Organisational skills that are second to none and you flourish in a close team environment.
A proven history of driving sales and delivering results through coaching and inspiring your sales teams
Strong communication skills both written and verbally
Great planning skills and the ability to prioritize workloads to effectively meet deadlines

On any given day you will:

Work closely with the Store Manager with all daily functions including stock preparation and inventory management
Support the management team in creating a fun, productive and cohesive team environment
Drive sales and enable a high level of customer service and a positive environment throughout the store
Be able to provide coaching and support team members to achieve sales and service goals.
Assist with store operations such as store rosters, visual merchandising and stock.
