We are looking for a detail-oriented team member (as Asst, Store Manager) to be part of a family owned (and operated) Mini supermarket located in the heart of the city. We offer great barista coffee, groceries, snacks, drinks, lotto & wide range of premium wine and beer. Our customers come from all walk of life including office workers, tourists & city residents.
The ideal candidate will have retail experience or worked in hospitality environments and can-do shift work (i.e. work weekends & public holidays). You will also bring your amazing customer service skills and have the capability to tackle tricky/difficult situations on your own. This is a great opportunity for a supervisor to get up to the next level as you will be working alongside with the director’s in managing day to day operations of the store.
This is a hand on role with strong emphasis to managing the store inventory, mechanising and upselling. You must be physically fit (lift items) and be on your feet for extended hours. Its essential for this role to have 2 year’s experience in retail or a hospitality setting. General Managers certificate & coffee making skills are required but not essential as we can assist the right candidate to get it under their belt.
