TCB Ski Board Bike is Ruapehu's biggest and busiest full service bike shop.
We sell, rent and repair everything from BMX bikes to full suspension downhill bikes, E bikes and all the accessories to go with them.
Due to our ever increasing Summer and Winter biking here in Ohakune we are looking for a full time bike rental and workshop manager. Especially with the go ahead of the 1000m vertical down hill through the forest starting at from the Turoa car park!
Exciting times are ahead.
Responsibilities will include-
*Organising and maintaining the bike rental fleet.
*Organising and controling the training of staff and managing the cleaning and maintenance of the bike rental fleet.
*Bike building, from BMX to custom E bikes.
*Fitting rental customers
*Managing the bike workshop including the servicing of customers bikes.
*Trail support for Old coach road
*Retail sales of bikes and accessories
The position is full time (5 days p/w) .Hours per week will vary depending on seasonal variations.
Applicants must be an experienced bike mechanic and have management experience.
Because of the scope of our business we offer training with the ability to work in other departments over both winter and summer seasons.
Training available for-
*Ski and snowboard workshop.
*Ski and snowboard rental.
*Boot lab, ski and board boot custom work.
*Ski and board retail.
