Boat New Zealand is a supplier of boat parts based in Ferrymead Christchurch, for both pleasure and commercial craft. We specialise in marketing by mail, internet, catalogue/newsletter promotion, and incorporate a full size sales showroom.
We are looking for a part time person to join our team, a self-motivated person who is enthusiastic and happy to work independently and within a team environment. Excellent communication skills, common sense and a good understanding of time-sensitive projects are needed. Boating experience is beneficial.
Offering personal growth, encouraged through on the job training, project orientated position and co-ordinated flow of activities.
The successful applicant will be provided with in-house training and experience in an array of marketing disciplines. You will be trained to work with our extensive catalogue and web site. A large part of the job will be working in the showroom and being involved with the incoming and outgoing stock and sales.
You will be joining a company that includes supportive staff operating from modern inspiring premises.
This position is 20-25 hours per week, for the right person (including a minimum of one Saturday in three - essential)
