You will have a proven background in retail management developed within roles involving high turnover businesses.
As store manager you will have a hands on management style, leading from the front, motivating your team while ensuring customers receive outstanding service. This will include running a successful and profitable store, training staff, food preparation and business planning including forecasting.
We are seeking a person who is able to "hit the ground running" and must be able to prove they fit the criteria's below:
Experience Required:
Stable work history
Diploma in business management level 7
Retail management experience of at least 2 years
Experienced in hiring and training of team members regarding procedural requirements
Experienced in operating POS and security system
Understanding of the employment, health & safety and other legal requirements of running a business
Knowledge of products and suppliers to the convenience industry
Some basic food preparation experience including basic food safety, food handling and hygiene
Ability to motivate and lead a team
Excellent customer service
Adhering to budgets to ensure the running of a profitable business
Timely reporting and record keeping
Fluent with numbers including understanding of mark ups, gross profits, net profits etc.
