Overview:
Main duties are till operation and stocking shelves on the shop floor
Position available for Full Time, Part Time, Casual and Weekend
Must be able to work weekends
Duties:
The Employee will undertake the following duties:
Efficiently operating the till at the shop counter
Operating scanners, scales, cash registers and other electronics
Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate
Maintaining a clean counter space and regular cleaning of display cabinets
Working in a fast-paced environment e.g. peak rush hours or weekends
Have excellent customer service and people skills
Provide assistance to customers and helping them with any queries
Facing up of products on the shelves when required and ensuring shelves and display cabinets look tidy and well stocked at all times.
Restocking stock items as and when required
Presenting stock faced so it is accessible and looks great
Work may involve walking, bending, lifting light to medium loads and/or standing for long periods of time
Carrying out any other work given by supervisor / manager
Ability to work independently when required
Be reliable and show a solid work ethic
Follow a roster system for agreed upon shift timings and number of hours per week
Strictly adhering to all Health and Safety standards
The Employee will perform all other reasonable duties required and comply with reasonable instructions issued by the Employer.
