We are a proud, independent, local company. We require a person for our New Plymouth building supplies yard.
The position is full time 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday plus some rostered Saturday mornings.
The duties are:
Customer Services duties: Serving customers in the yard and preparing invoices
Processing orders: Getting out orders of timber and building supplies
Checking stock: Checking inwards stock
Yard work: general yard work keeping the stock tidy etc
The ideal candidate will have the following:
You will need to be fit and strong as physical work is involved as some of the timber and building supplies products can be heavy.
People skills in dealing with customers.
Confidence in computer use and
Good communication skills.
Enthusiasm and common sense. Forklift license could be an advantage but is not necessary. Experience is not necessary, but a willingness to learn plenty!
