We are a well established family owned company who specialise in hand Knitting yarns and accessories, and Sewing Machines.
We are looking for a confident reliable and enthusiastic individual who can relate to people from diverse age groups, has experience within the retail market and someone who aside from their great people skills is prepared to build and grow an already successful business.
You will be responsible for managing 2 staff , stock ordering, the daily running of the store, merchandising, growing sales and excellent customer service and product advice.
The ability to be self motivated is important as you will be in the store on your own.
Training will be given to the successful applicant along with a supportive culture to ensure you have what it takes to succeed.
20 hours per week -
Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 9.30am - 1.30pm, Tues 1.00pm - 5.00pm
Maybe some Saturday work
Extra hours required to fill in for staff annual leave, staff sickness and during busy times.
To be successful in this role you must have a good knowledge of knitting and an understanding of sewing. Ideally you need to have been in a sole charge role, experience in the retail market at a supervisory level and have a passion for exceptional customer service.
